Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Orin (operated by Nav AI) collects, why, and your choices. We aim to collect only what we need to run the service.

What we collect

Account data: your name, email, and a securely hashed password. Product data: the product description and the competitor URLs/handles you add. Generated data: snapshots and change records produced by monitoring. Product usage data:first-party events such as starting signup, completing onboarding, receiving a digest, and the Useful/Noise feedback you provide. Anonymous landing-page events use a random first-party visitor identifier and do not contain your monitored content. Billing data:handled by Stripe — we store only a customer/subscription reference, never your card details.

How we use it

To discover and monitor competitors, generate your digests, send the emails you've opted into, process subscriptions, and secure and improve the service.

Third parties

We share data only with processors that power Orin: Anthropic (AI analysis), Resend (email delivery), and Stripe (payments). They process data on our behalf under their own terms.

Email

Weekly digests are opt-in. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe, and you can toggle digests anytime in Settings.

Retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings — this permanently removes your account, product, competitors, snapshots, changes, digests, product events, and intelligence feedback, and cancels any active subscription.

Security

Passwords are hashed, sessions are signed, and user-supplied URLs are fetched through SSRF protections. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
